Usage

Formwork lumber is a versatile tool in the construction industry, serving as an essential element to ensure flexibility and precision when you are creating temporary forms and structures for the production of various concrete elements.

Here is a list of usages for formwork boards:

1. Foundation forms – formwork boards are used to make forms for pouring the foundations of buildings, providing the necessary support and shape to the concrete.

2. Concrete forms – formwork boards are primarily used to support and shape forms providing the correct size and shape for pouring concrete structures.

This includes pouring forms and creating:

– concrete walls – e.g. retaining walls for retaining earth and other materials;

– columns – concrete, reinforced structural elements in construction;

– beams – concrete, reinforced formwork boards are used to create forms for the beams, ensuring they are of the correct size and shape;

– concrete slabs – formwork boards help maintain slab level and structural integrity.

3. Stair moulds – when pouring concrete stairs, formwork boards ensure their precise shape and high strength.

4. Culverts – formwork boards are used to create forms for culverts and drainage structures.

5. Decorative concrete – in projects where a decorative finish to the concrete is desired, formwork boards help to create specific patterns and textures in the concrete and decorative elements such as cornices and more.

6. Temporary support – formwork boards can be used to temporarily support and stiffen supporting structures during construction or repair work.
